Such an Amazing Day
Dudes. Read Across America Day.
We read. And read and read. Then we had people read to us. One very impressive reader, too. A Major General from the Third Army. (Patton's Army, for you history novices. I very nearly cried, I was so happy.) If the pictures turn out, I will try to post for you. But a happy day for my reading kids. It's not very often you just get to pick out the books you will read and then read them.
We had a blast.

We're doing different activities every day next week, and the kids are so excited! I love that they love to read!
Yay! I love our Read Across America week too. We even have the Cat in the Hat coming on Monday for a school walk-thru!
Our literacy night was on Monday at our daughter's school. Both her and my 3 year old son won a book and had a great time...
