Happy Independence Day
"I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory. I can see that the end is worth more than the means."
"Posterity: you will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.”
-John Adams

What I like about John Adams is that he married a woman like Abigail. I adore her. Abigail Adams and Dolley Madison are two of my heroes.
John Adams was THE MAN! Have a Happy & Festive Fourth!
And please don't forget, BTW, that today's Silly Sunday. Sharpen up that sense o' humor, and drop in to see me!
