Independence Day

No, not the holiday, the movie. My lesson plans are literally written on a post it note and I have found that the Family Channel is showing Independence Day. Great golly molly - I have found a reason to sit back and watch me some TV. Not that I haven't already seen half of Twelve Angry Men and all of Akeelah and the Bee; I know most of this movie by heart: "If you want to impress me, get a job and stop slobbering on my shoe."

Go ahead and make fun of teachergirl, but I love this movie.

Maybe tomorrow we can talk about great cinema.
