Oh My Holy Hell, Part 2

Harold Ford, former congressman and Barack Obama spokesmodel, has just spouted off and said that "people in Alabama don't read The New Yorker." Apparently, what he's trying to say is that us crackers aren't too educated and don't understand satire.

Hey, cowboy, The New Yorker was required reading for me in one of my Deep South college writing classes, dumbass. I get it. Do you get the First Amendment?

I'm sure the people in Alabama will start lining up now to vote for Obama, based on such flattering chitchat.

Geeze.

The racial component of this campaign is getting so old. (Almost as old as John McCain)

You have to admit though, the "New Yorker" is a liberal read and the vast majority of folks that read it are from the state's name that graces it's cover.

I did not find the cover disgraceful at all. In fact, in a country where 15% of Americans believe Obama is a Muslim, maybe a bit of satire is needed to wake people up to reality.

I'll bet you ANYTHING someone will spin it as:

"What Harold Ford meant is that Alabamians get The New Yorker for the cartoons."
