However, we are in the middle of Super Big State Testing and I am wiped out. My fifth graders need to pass reading and math in order to be promoted. I don't know if it's looking good or not. I really couldn't tell you; I'm not allowed to look at the questions. Hardly makes sense, does it?

Our writing scores came back, however, and 93% met or exceeded standards. I am pretty impressed. With them and myself.

I must return to the real world, now, because the youth group is coming for the weekend. I don't know how I get talked into these things.
