Freedom Isn't Free

The flag flies at half mast every day at Arlington National Cemetery because there is always a funeral for a veteran. Discuss among yourselves.

A few Memorial Days ago, I went to Arlington Cemetery. Everybody was going one way to see the President. I went the other way to pay my respects to those in Section 60.

Great photos! We live so close to Arlington that we actually visit quite often. Both my folks are buried there, too (Dad was an Air Force Vet). It's a peaceful, wonderful place to collect one's thoughts and contemplate life's priorities.

And hey, if you have time, please stop by my Silly Sunday Sweepstakes. We've got another Sweet Snap for ya...and it's always fun to Share the Caption Love!
