Can I Get an Amen?
Summer school is over for another year - I hope everyone of those babies passed that test this morning. However, one of them tried to bubble in the math answers in the reading section.
Do you see what I've been working with these past few weeks?
I'm heading to Charleston and D.C. for the Fourth!! Can't wait. I hear I've got a great spot to view the fireworks this year.

Amen, Sistah! And bully for you, braving DC on the 4th! We went to a Nats game the other nite, and the GW Parkway is already lined with snow fences to keep all the fireworks-watching interlopers away. We're actually headed into DC tomorrow, 'cause Eastern Market has finally reopened. Enjoy your trip!
While my family still lives in Alexandria - we have scored a cityview room at the Key Bridge Marriott for the 4th. I hear we get walking access on Key Bridge!! Can't wait! My children have never seen the fireworks at the Capitol. And I take them for granted. I am a bad mother.
Hi Teachergirl,
Your posts are so entertaining! My name is Erin, and I am a college student with mild cerebral palsy. I’m a special education major and have hopes of becoming a disability services director of a university after graduate school. I have just launched a blog that is still getting started, but with the title “Empowering People and Changing Lives,” I hope that it will provide a wealth of resources for people who care for children, specifically those who are affected by disability. I will also be chronicling some personal experiences and will be sharing some thoughts about those along the way. Your blog has also been included in my blogroll, so I hope that together, we are able to collaborate to provide resources to those who are in similar situations. The blog’s address is http://empowerpeoplechangelives.blogspot.com. From there, you will be able to read the posts I have written, find out all about me, check out my blogroll, eventually look at many resources I have gathered, and contact me.
Look forward to reading many more of your posts! Happy blogging!
I've always wanted to stay at a place like the Key Bridge Marriott for the 4th! Have a TON of fun, and think of moi...jammed with the masses on the National Mall. Maybe we'll get good weather...you never know!
BTW, my youngest just launched a photo blog, and I'm shamelessly trolling for traffic. Please visit my site to see what she's got going, and pay her a visit!
