Two Weeks from Today
Fifth grade overnight camping trip. Fourteen days away. Includes swimming, canoeing, archery. Sounds great in September and once it is over. The sheer dread is weighing me down. It is as bad as testing.

My idea of camping is a hotel without room service or cable.
I doff my wig, sister. Bring bug spray.
And Valium.
When I first read that, I thought it meant you would be camping for 14 nights. *shudder* One night would be bad enough.

I used to do a 6th grade overnight field trip. Before Kids. It was the highlight of the school year and the kids were sooo good. Seriously. I hope yours will not be as bad as you're expecting it to be!
